OUR STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
The Initial Phone Call
From the get-go, we strive to understand your vision and expectations. We aim to be attentive, accurate, accessible, and professional as we work with you throughout your painting project. We’ll start by gathering information from you during our initial talk. You’ll work directly with a Project Manager who will ask you about various aspects of your upcoming painting project, while informing you about our process and answering any questions that you may have.
Free Estimate and Meet-Up
Once we have a basic understanding of your upcoming project, we’ll visit you at your home to produce an accurate estimate for your paint job. Your Project Manager will discuss our warranty, payment terms, invoicing, scheduling, and other details about our painting process. Once you decide to move forward with us, we’ll create a rough schedule with you, so that we don’t create too much inconvenience while we’re on your property. We strive to work with your schedule and your constraints. And you’ll always be able to get in touch with your Project Manager via phone call, text message, or email. We won’t ask you to sign a contract or make a deposit for your project.
In-Home Color Consultations & Color Matching
If you’d like, we can provide you with an in-home color consultation. We’d be happy to stop by your house to discuss a variety of paint selections that you may be considering for your upcoming project. We can go over color swatches with you and apply paint samples so that you get a taste of the final product before we coat your surfaces.
Take note! Our color consultation services are completely free — don’t hesitate to ask for an opinion from our designer to make sure that you settle on the perfect paint colors for your spaces.
If you’d like, you can sample paints that you are considering. We’d be happy to deliver paint samples and brushes, so that you can apply a test coat on or near the surfaces that you are considering. This way, you can be certain that you like the final color and sheen after it dries, before we get to work covering entire surfaces.
The Fine Details
Once you’re satisfied with the colors you’ve chosen and you’re ready for us to apply that first coat of fresh paint, we’ll go over your schedule with you, to ensure that we’re coordinated as far as the start date, what time we’ll be at your property, whether or not you need power washing (for exterior paint jobs) or repairs prior to painting, and your overall expectations for the job.
Finally, we’ll get to work. Our Crew Leader will meet with you quickly to ensure that you’re ready to get started. Then, we’ll begin by protecting your floors and possessions with drop cloths, we’ll prepare your surfaces, and we’ll paint. A Crew Leader will remain on-site so that you can address any questions or concerns that may crop up during the project. We’ll also keep you informed of the progress of your paint job.
We want to be sure that you are totally satisfied with our work, which is why we’ll perform a one-on-one walkthrough. Our Crew Leader will meet with you as we walk around your property, inspecting our workmanship. We’ll address any issues or changes right away.
Once we’re certain your satisfied, we’ll send you a copy of your invoice via email, as well as payment instructions. You can pay online or with a check, whichever is convenient.
